Hillary Clinton has pneumonia but nothing more.

Image
Hillary Clinton’s campaign sought to draw a line Monday under her health scare, stating she has no medical ailments other than pneumonia and that the Democratic presidential nominee will return to campaigning as early as mid-week. The statements came one day after Clinton, 68, fell ill at a 9/11 memorial event in New York and was seen stumbling as she was helped into her vehicle, forcing her campaign to disclose she had been diagnosed with the acute respiratory infection.     The incident — captured on amateur video — gave her rival Donald Trump, 70, a new opening to question her fitness for the nation’s highest office. Both candidates have now pledged to release additional details on their health in the coming days, as the race for the White House heats up with eight weeks to go until Election Day. “There’s no other undisclosed condition. The pneumonia is the extent of it,” Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon told MSNBC. “I expect ...

After a quiet marriage in London to her new heart-throb, JJC Skillz, last month, screen character, Jenifa, born Funke Akindele, has reached out to her fans to pray for her for the fruit of the womb this year, sparking a healthy suspicion she might have been pregnant before the nuptial. Caught red-handed by her mother!

Image
Some few months back, at one of these private A-list parties, Dora was having the time of her life. So were a few of us that shared a table.                                                                                                          love or Lust We were all social friends and the banter was smutty but harmless, until  Greg walked in. An obvious hunk, he was way beyond our reach because of his young age – barely 35. He obviously knew Dora as he stopped for a chat, his after-shave almost fouling the air. You know these seemingly cock-sure men, just before making an entrance at any function, they top up on their aftershave, ignoring the less-is-more doctrine. As he exchanged b...

Mourinho: Aguero’s absence has made it harder for Man UTD.

Image
… worries over Iheanacho Jose Mourinho  believes Sergio Aguero’s derby suspension for City has  made it a more difficult pre-match task for United  in the build up to the  Old Trafford showdown.                            “It changes things because it is more difficult. When Aguero is available we know that Aguero plays, we know their formation, we know their dynamics, we know there are no doubts that when a player like him is ready he plays,” said the United boss. “They have an amazing rich squad in options. Now Guardiola can have many decisions. One thing is if he decides to play with Iheanacho, another thing is if he decides to play with Sterling or if he plays with Silva as a fake No.9 between the lines, he has so many options. “For us in the preparation for the game we have to go step by step, situation after situation because we try to reduce the unpredic...

Guardiola: Why I started Iheanacho against Man UTD.

Image
With Sergio Aguero missing through suspension, Guardiola had the option to deploy a midfielder or winger as a false nine, but he instead turned to Kelechi Iheanacho, and the youngster duly obliged by delivering a fine performance, during which he provided an assist and scored what proved to be the decisive goal in the 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.                                                                                         Iheanacho   Guardiola said: “He was the only striker we had in that moment. I thought about many other options – but I thought in the beginning to show to my players that I came to win the game.”   Despite being just 19, Iheanacho, who is now City’s youngest ever goalscorer in th...

A development  that may rock the relationship between the Nigerian Army and the Federal Capital Development Administration, FCDA, is building up and may crystallise into a show of force or legal tussle.   The spat is masterminded by the Nigerian Army which, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, sealed off the road leading to the 230 hectares of land known as the Maitama Extension District and drove out the workers of a company, Kakatar Civil Engineering Limited, providing engineering infrastructure for the district. The army says the land belongs to it. It did not, however, show any document to buttress its claim of ownership but has deployed soldiers to the site. By that action, the company’s working tools, like asphalt-producing plants, rock crushers, state-of-the-art fabrication workshop and earth moving equipment like bulldozers and excavators, as well as trucks, are trapped: they can neither be maintained nor repaired while those to be moved out for external jobs...

Spokesperson of the militant group, self-styled Brig Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, in a statement, also advised President Buhari to shed the garb of a stooge to the imperialists when he speaks outside the country, adding that with its unannounced cessation of hostilities, what was expected of the federal government was to put in place a legitimate dialogue to reform Nigeria.                 Its words: “We call on President Muhammadu Buhari to put away the garb of a stooge to the imperialists whenever he speaks outside Nigeria. We have listened carefully and halted hostilities in the Niger Delta; we expect a genuine and positive att...
