Fuji music lord, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, turns 60 on Friday March 3, 2017 and the music legend got the most heartwarming gift ever early in the morning of his day. King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal The elated birthday boy popularly known and called K1 De Ultimate or K1 shared videos of birthday messages his daughters, Honey B, Ololade Jemilla and Saidat Aderinsola and granddaughter who are abroad sent him. The videos are very touching videos of his daughters revealing the things they love about their father. One described him as the ‘nicest, funniest and craziest person she knows.’ And then the icing on the cake is his granddaughter Faridah who used the letters of the word granddad to write a poem for him and wish him a happy birthday. The widely acclaimed King of fuji music aka Oluaye fuji turns 60 on Friday, March 3, 2017 and NAIJ.com Entertainment’s celebrating the fuji music icon. King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal K1 was born at Idumagbo, Lagos Island as Wasiu Adewale Omogbolahan Olasunkanmi Ayinde Anifowoshe to the Fidipote Ruling House of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state. K1 and his mom Alhaja Alimotu Sadia Anifowoshe He discovered passion for music at eight years. Though his parents opposed his musical pursuit, but he still pursued it. At 15 he had won various local musical competitions. He eventually dropped out of secondary school as a result of his father’s untimely death and finds succour in fuji music.

Cocoice’s antics in the Big Brother Naija house has gained her fame across the country. So much so that Don Jazzy had to comment on her issue. Cocoice Cocoice initially made the news after she exposed her bosom and shockingly allowed Bassey to feast on them. Such a bold move couldn’t be ignored and Don Jazzy wrote via Twitter that:  “Eyaaa nipple wey dem suck no save Cocoice? There you have it young ones, protect your nips.” Obviously not happy with what the Mavin boss wrote, Coco said her action was rather spontaneous than a planned or intentional one. Nigeria Police denies being snubbed by Obasanjo

The Nigeria Police has denied that former President Olusegun Obasanjo stormed out of an event it organised in Lagos state on Thursday, March 2. The Police say Obasanjo did not abandon their event but was understanding and did his part. Premium Times reports that the police made the denial on Friday, March 3 in a statement by Kayode Aderanti, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone II. While Aderanti admitted that the event did not kick off on time, he noted Obasanjo understood their situation and stayed behind to perform the functions delegated to him before leaving. Aderanti said:  “Former president Olusegun Obasanjo in his usual fatherly manner and once being a uniformed personnel himself, came into the hall and still went ahead to deliver his remarks as earlier scheduled." Osinbajo orders oil companies to relocate to Niger Delta

As part of efforts by the federal government to curtail the crisis in the Niger Delta, acting President Yemi Osinbajo has given a new directive to oil companies - The acting president, who spoke in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, asked the petroleum minister, Ibe Kachikwu, to liaise with the oil companies to ensure this is done Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has reportedly asked all international oil companies operating in the Niger-Delta region but with head offices in other parts of Nigeria to relocate to the zone. Osinbajo gave the directive in Akwa Ibom state It is believed that this is the first time such order would be given by the presidency since 1999 when Nigeria returned to democratic rule.
