DEFECT OR NOT THEY ARE ALL THE SAME

Victor Abang, the special assistant to the Senate president, Bukola Saraki has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River state. Abang, who was a special assistant to former Senate president, Senator David Mark, left the party with some ward executives including the former chairman of PDP in Kakwagom Bawop, his secretary and two officials of the local government, Leadership reports. He was said to have defected with over 400 of his staunch supporters. According to the senate president’s aide, his decision to defect with his supporters was necessitated by recent ugly developments including, the lack of internal democracy and imposition of candidates in the state branch of the PDP. He explained that they are joining the APC to where they can play politics in a level playing ground. 13 Ships With Petroleum Products Berth In Lagos Port OAyodele   1 day ago   31140 Thirteen ships laden with petrol, base oil, bulk gas and aviation fuel have arrived and waiting to berth in Lagos ports. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication on Wednesday in Lagos.
