Remembering the sad tale of the "ALUU4" ordeal

Jungle justice can be defined as the capital punishment meted out by individuals without any legal authority on a suspected individual. This form of justice has occurred frequently in Africa where people still believe in the old method of taking justice into their own hands, for sometimes petty crimes. Everyday only in Nigeria, someone is killed by jungle justice, the nation is said to have the  highest rate in Africa. On October 5, 2012 four promising students of University of Port Harcourt, Chiadika Biringa, Lloyde Toku Mike, Tekena Elkanah and Ugonna Obuzor, all first sons of their parents were killed without any justification on accusation of being cultists and thieves. In a just concluded interview on Africa Independent Television (AIT), President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that the abducted chibok girl are alive. The President said that Boko Haram insurgents have not killed the over 200 schoolgirls abducted from Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno state. Featuring on an AIT programme tagged Kakaaki, the president said: “The good story is that they’ve not been killed”. According to Linda Ikeji, the Policeman was seen very early this morning at about 8:30am drunk to the point that he could not stand or walk without being supported. General Muhammadu Buhari, who is running for the presidential seat from the All Progressives Congress (APC), has bemoaned the fuel scarcity that has hit Nigeria, stating that, Nigerians are forced to spend quality hours queuing for petroleum products. Buhari via his official Twitter account said that Nigeria as a country should not be importing petrol.
