Court decries DSS attitude towards Kashamu's case
- A Federal High Court in Abuja has decried the action of the Department of State Services (DSS) - The court was reacting to a suit filed by Senator Buruji Kashamu - Kashamu had filed a suit against the DSS and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) A Federal High Court in Abuja has decried the action of the DSS and the police as regards the case of the senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Senator Buruji Kashamu. Buruji Kashamu Kashamu had approached the court to stop the IGP and the DSS from extraditing him to the United States of America (USA) to face trial for drug-related offences. According to The Authority, the court expressed anger at the absence of DSS counsel at its session on Thursday, March 3 and then adjourned the case till Monday, March 21 for definite hearing.
